Students who have taken my classes know how much I enjoy the works of William Shakespeare and James Joyce.  Following are links where you may access the works of Shakespeare and the text of Joyce's Ulysses.

If you are interested in the works of Arthur Miller, below is the link to the web page of The Arthur Miller Society where you will find useful information about Miller, upcoming Miller conferences, and particulars about how to become a member of the society.

Following are two papers on American Drama that I have written.  The first paper on Ammons and Miller was published in American Drama journal and was presented at a literature conference sponsored by the Pennsylvania College English Association in April 2008.  The second paper, comparing modern and contemporary drama, was presented at the American Drama conference in November 2008.

Connections Between Modern American Drama and Contemporary Drama: Sociological and Metaphysical Correlations

After teaching for 32 years, I will be retiring from full time teaching in June of 2011.  However, I will still teach an online course from time to time at Felician College; therefore, I will still maintain this web page.  I send my warmest and most sincere regards to my fellow faculty members and my many students at Felician College who have enriched both my career in literary study and my personal life; you have made the last 32 years truly memorable and glorious!  Now I will take the time for some much deserved rest--to read some really bad novels, watch some truly mundane television, and travel with my wife wherever our hearts take us.
